MARDIN CHAMBER/ COMMODITY EXCHANGE JOINT PROJECT TEAM AIMS TO INCREASE MEMBERS' E-COMMERCE CAPACITY

Mardin Province/Districts Chamber/Commodity Exchange Joint Project Team continues its activities with the aim of “developing institutional capacity”. For this purpose, a new meeting was held in which the preparations for the projects on the integration of the members into the e-commerce system were discussed.

The following names participated in the meeting held in electronic environment on 22.06.2021: Metin Sert, Deputy Secretary General of Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange (KTB); Kiziltepe Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTSO) Accreditation Officer Ferhat Dundar; Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO) Accreditation Officer Mehmet Emin Duyan; Nusaybin Commodity Exchange (NTB) Secretary General Abdullah Dal, Accreditation Officer Ercan Çelik; Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NTSO) Accreditation Officer İlhan Özmen; TOBB/TEPAV, Mardin Province/Districts Chamber/Exchange Academic Advisor and Mardin Artuklu University (MAÜ) Facutly of Economics and Administrative Sciences(FEAS), Department of Economics Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Behzat Ekinci.

Subjects discussed at the meeting were as follows: identification of members using the e-commerce system, revealing the roadmap for integration into the e-commerce system, project          preliminary  preparations for the e-commerce integration system, TOBB Smart Small and Medium Sized Enterprises(TOKİ) Platform, Establishing an e-academy platform with the cooperation of Mardin Chamber/Commodity Exchange and Mardin Artuklu University (MAU), Potential cooperation opportunities with Women and Young Entrepreneurs.

Team members drew attention to the need to prepare a project for the integration of members into the e-commerce system. In this regard,  ıt was decided to make some preliminary preparations and to cooperate with the relevant institutions, especially the development agency. For that purpose, it is aimed to meet with e-commerce service providers and to provide technical information support. Furthermore, it is foreseen to benefit from TOBB's Smart Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (TOKİ) Platform infrastructure within the scope of integration into the e-commerce system.
