Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcýklýoðlu, released a message on the occassion of ‘July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day’. Hisarcýklýoðlu stated in his message that they have not and will not forget this despicable attack on the independence and future of our country and that they will never give in to any option other than the national will.
TOBB President Hisarcýklýoðlu stated the following in his message:
“We are on the 4th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt of 15 July 2016. We have not forgotten this despicable attack on the independence and future of our country, and will not, by God's wish.
The Turkish nation has shown to the world that it will not accept an administration that does not take its power from the election and its authority from the nation as legitimate, and that it will never submit to any option other than democracy and national will.
With the wisdom of our nation, a historical barrier has been set against those who attempt to take our country over by brute force.
It has been seen that no one can break our unity and solidarity.
Under the leadership of our President, Mr.Recep Tayyip Erdogan, our nation has taken part in defence of the country with courage, foresight and faith, and has made yet another history with this national resistance.
We all take pride in our fellow citizens who shielded their breasts full of faith in defense of the homeland against members of the Fetö terrorist organization.
As the Turkish business world, we continue to work with the same spirit and belief.
We will ensure by working together that Turkey takes its place among the largest economies in the word.
We wish God's mercy to the heroic martyrs of the national resistance who lost their lives in this epic struggle for democracy, and we remember our veterans with gratitude.
